My older son is a drummer. He happened to be home yesterday and we jammed for a while. I played my 8-string and it was just a blast! He is a nu-metal and metalcore fan so we were pretty heavy. This instrument loves that! The long scale worked out great.
On the other hand, this experience really drove home how badly my wiring sucks. With the gain and the volume up the noise and interference was terrible.
Those of you who found this blog by searching on "7-string baritone," or the like I'm actually talking about the same instrument.
